Capability Maturity Model Integrated for Software (SW-CMMI)
Software Process Improvement
Committed to Quality, Mustang Technologies has embarked on the journey to SW-CMMI Level 5.
The SW-CMMI framework has been developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University, and represents a path of improvements recommended for software organizations to enhance their software process capability.
The benefits of SEI's SW-CMMI include better control of products and processes, lower effort and schedule overruns and better project risk management leading to lower costs and high customer satisfaction.
SEI's SW-CMMI has become the defacto standard for assessing and improving software processes. Through SEI's SW-CMMI the SEI and the software community have put in place an effective means for modeling, defining, and measuring the maturity of the processes used by software professionals.
Mustang Technologies intends to receive its SW-CMMI Level 2 Assessment during the second half of 2009 at it software development facility in Bangkok, Thailand.
